Proeliis—Latin Meaning for the Battles

This knife is called Proeliis, Latin meaning: for the battles. The handle scales, or grips, are made of a material called G-10, a high-pressure fiberglass laminate. It is created by stacking multiple layers of glass cloth, soaking in epoxy resin, and compressing the resulting material under heat until the epoxy cures. This unique pattern is a very grippy texture without being irritating.

The scales are removable if damaged can be replaced. All Radelow Blades are a full tang design, meaning one piece of metal runs from tip to butt.

Beneath the removable handle, scales are two holes, machined to allow the concealment of six to eight 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle coins. Special Operation Forces know, or should, the value gold possesses to people around the world. One small gold coin can change the course of a crappy situation.

The finish on the blade is Cerakote, over CPM S35VN stainless steel, makes for a blade that will handle many inhospitable environments.

Refined to meet higher-quality standards, we make our tools and knives from high-grade materials. Radelow Blades only uses steels from countries with rich histories in metallurgy in the creation of our blades. Some examples are: the United States, Germany, Japan, and Sweden.

Radelow Blade steel is thicker and more resilient than 90% of blades on the market. Our parts fit precisely because our surfaces are ground and machined accurately. Talented and experienced handwork goes into the final fit and finish of each blade.

Every knife and RADHAWK is marked with a serial number. This serial number identifies the country in which the piece was made, followed by the month, year, type of steel—

Radelow Blades are not mass produced.
