SKINWALKER
A person, in certain Native American traditions, who can transform into any animal when wearing its pelt.
This knife was designed with input from a former Navy SEAL, and a lifelong hunter. He told me there’s nothing like this blade around today, similar, but not like this! He owned one designed like this, decades ago as a young man hunting the American wilds. Unfortunately, it was lost, and he has never found one since. Until now!
Able to do skinning, dressing, and gutting. The serrated edge should be used for separation of ligaments, tendons, and joints. While the knife edge should be saved for more delicate cutting of softer tissue. The gut hook is used to “un-zip” the belly skin for gut removal, similar to gutting and cleaning fish too small to fillet. The blade is hollow-ground for superior cutting and will last many sharpenings.
The handle is large and comfortable for big hands, and the No-Slip©️ grip design of the G-10 will ensure a secure purchase on the handle even when covered in bodily fluids.
The finish on the blade is Cerakote, over CPM S35VN stainless steel, makes for a blade that will handle many inhospitable environments. With CPM S35VN stainless steel, and HRC 60, less sharpening will be needed. This is one of the top-shelf American made steels available today.
